UPDATE! MUST READ!

Hiya!

I have no excuse for no posts over the past month, life took over I'm afraid. But I'm back BABY! New schedule coming out soon! I've noticed all I write on my blog is about sports, food and anything else. I made a schedule so I could teach myself discipline in creating content for you guys. However, for example, Wednesdays on my old schedule I would post something to do with lifestyle or sport. I'd come to write for a Wednesday post and have nothing to say about these subjects. From now on, I'm going in with a different approach! I will be posting on the weekends instead of weekdays. I seem to spend more time on the weekends on social media and connecting with people. Therefore, lunch time on Saturday's & Sunday's there will be blog posts. I hope this is okay and I'm sorry for neglecting this blog.

Love ya! Xxx

Fluffy American Pancakes!

Hiya!

I LOVE American food, especially pancakes! Recently I have been craving them like mad, its unreal. They tasted so delicious and looked amazing, so I thought I'd share the recipe with you- so here it is!

Fluffy American Pancakes!

Ingredients

135g/4¾oz plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp caster sugar
130ml/4½fl oz milk
1 large egg, lightly beaten
2 tbsp melted butter
½ tsp of olive oil for cooking

Method
  1. Sift the flour, baking powder, salt and caster sugar into a large bowl. In a separate bowl or jug, lightly whisk together the milk and egg, then whisk in the melted butter
  2. Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture and, using a fork, beat until you have a smooth batter. Any lumps will soon disappear with a little mixing. Let the batter stand for a few minutes.
  3. Heat a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat and add a knob of butter. When it's melted, add a ladle of batter (or two if your frying pan is big enough to cook two pancakes at the same time). It will seem very thick but this is how it should be. Wait until the top of the pancake begins to bubble, then turn it over and cook until both sides are golden brown and the pancake has risen to about 1cm (½in) thick.
  4. Repeat until all the batter is used up. You can keep the pancakes warm in a low oven, but they taste best fresh out the pan.
  5. Serve with toppings and syrups of your choice- I used golden syrup and chocolate chips!

I hope you like these as much as I do. If you do make these then please send me pictures using the social media fields below.

Delicious Chocolate Brownies!

Hiya!

I LOVE chocolate and I want to make this a regular thing on my blog, recipes and reviews. Today's recipe is chocolate brownies! The brownies are seriously good. Here's the recipe to how I made my chocolate brownies, Enjoy!

Ingredients!

185g unsalted butter
185g best dark chocolate
85g plain flour
40g cocoa powder
50g white chocolate
50g milk chocolate
3 large egg
275g golden caster sugar

Method!

1.) Cut 185g unsalted butter into smallish cubes and tip into a medium bowl. Break 185g best dark chocolate into small pieces and drop into the bowl. Fill a small saucepan about a quarter full with hot water, then sit the bowl on top so it rests on the rim of the pan, not touching the water. Put over a low heat until the butter and chocolate have melted, stirring occasionally to mix them. Now remove the bowl from the pan. Alternatively, cover the bowl loosely with cling film and put in the microwave for 2 minutes on High. Leave the melted mixture to cool to room temperature.

2.) While you wait for the chocolate to cool, position a shelf in the middle of your oven and turn the oven on to fan 160C/conventional 180C/gas 4 (most ovens take 10-15 minutes to heat up). Using a shallow 20cm square tin, cut out a square of non-stick baking parchment to line the base. Now tip 85g plain flour and 40g cocoa powder into a sieve held over a medium bowl, and tap and shake the sieve so they run through together and you get rid of any lumps.

3.) With a large sharp knife, chop 50g white chocolate and 50g milk chocolate into chunks on a board. The slabs of chocolate will be quite hard, so the safest way to do this is to hold the knife over the chocolate and press the tip down on the board, then bring the rest of the blade down across the chocolate. Keep on doing this, moving the knife across the chocolate to chop it into pieces, then turn the board round 90 degrees and again work across the chocolate so you end up with rough squares.

4.) Break 3 large eggs into a large bowl and tip in 275g golden caster sugar. With an electric mixer on maximum speed, whisk the eggs and sugar until they look thick and creamy, like a milk shake. This can take 3-8 minutes, depending on how powerful your mixer is, so don’t lose heart. You’ll know it’s ready when the mixture becomes really pale and about double its original volume. Another check is to turn off the mixer, lift out the beaters and wiggle them from side to side. If the mixture that runs off the beaters leaves a trail on the surface of the mixture in the bowl for a second or two, you’re there.

5.) Pour the cooled chocolate mixture over the eggy mousse, then gently fold together with a rubber spatula. Plunge the spatula in at one side, take it underneath and bring it up the opposite side and in again at the middle. Continue going under and over in a figure of eight, moving the bowl round after each folding so you can get at it from all sides, until the two mixtures are one and the colour is a mottled dark brown. The idea is to marry them without knocking out the air, so be as gentle and slow as you like – you don’t want to undo all the work you did in step 4.

6.) Hold the sieve over the bowl of eggy chocolate mixture and resift the cocoa and flour mixture, shaking the sieve from side to side, to cover the top evenly. Gently fold in this powder using the same figure of eight action as before. The mixture will look dry and dusty at first, and a bit unpromising, but if you keep going very gently and patiently, it will end up looking gungy and fudgy. Stop just before you feel you should, as you don’t want to overdo this mixing. Finally, stir in the white and milk chocolate chunks until they’re dotted throughout. Now your mixing is done and the oven can take over.

7.) Pour the mixture into the prepared tin, scraping every bit out of the bowl with the spatula. Gently ease the mixture into the corners of the tin and paddle the spatula from side to side across the top to level it. Put in the oven and set your timer for 25 minutes. When the buzzer goes, open the oven, pull the shelf out a bit and gently shake the tin. If the brownie wobbles in the middle, it’s not quite done, so slide it back in and bake for another 5 minutes until the top has a shiny, papery crust and the sides are just beginning to come away from the tin. Take out of the oven.

8.) Leave the whole thing in the tin until completely cold, then, if you’re using the brownie tin, lift up the protruding rim slightly and slide the uncut brownie out on its base. If you’re using a normal tin, lift out the brownie with the foil. Cut into quarters, then cut each quarter into four squares and finally into triangles. These brownies are so addictive you’ll want to make a second batch before the first is finished, but if you want to make some to hide away for a special occasion, it’s useful to know that they’ll keep in an airtight container for a good two weeks and in the freezer for up to a month.

Feel free to use this recipe, that what its here for! If you do decide to create these then please send me a picture using my Snapchat, Twitter or Instagram details below. I can't wait to see them.

How to make the perfect Hot Chocolate.

Hiya!

Yep I know its approaching summer BUT Hot chocolates will always be my favourite drinks. When I was in Egypt a few years ago, I sat beside the pool drinking a hot chocolate at least twice a day! So here's how I create the PERFECT Hot Chocolate... enjoy!

Ingredients!

4 x heaped teaspoons of Cadburys Hot Chocolate Powder.
1 cap of milk
300ml of milk
Squirty Cream
1 1/2 Cadbury Flakes
Mini Marshmallows.

Instructions!

1.) Put your 300ml of milk in a mug and in the microwave for 1 minute. Take out often to stir.
2.) Gradually mix together the cap of milk and chocolate powder to form a paste.
3.) Once the steps above are complete, combine and stir together until a chocolate brown and a milky consistency but still hot!
4.) Sprinkle some of the marshmallows on top of your drink then put the cream over the top.
5.) Crumble the half of the Flake on top of the cream then sprinkle the rest of the marshmallows, after insert your whole Flake halfway through your cream so it kinda looks like a 99 ice cream... VOLIA!

I hope you enjoy this! If you decide to make this please send me a picture of it to my social media sites below!

DOUBLE English Champions... ASPIRE PFC!

Hiya!

As most of you know, I play powerchair football for London based Aspire PFC- however if you don't know much about powerchair football, here's a little synopsis of the game!

"Powerchair football is a 4 a-side sport played in enhanced powerchair's on a indoor basketball court sized pitch. The sport is played by thousands around the world with regular regional, national and worldwide competitions. Powerchair football is one of the quickest growing sports with continuously new equipment and rules coming into the game all the time. One of the main rules of football is 'the offside rule', however, in powerchair football there is no offside rule- instead we have a 2 on 1 rule where only 1 player from each team can tackle the ball in a 3 metre radius at 1 time. Other than that, there's still throw ins, goal kicks, kick offs, corners and sadly yellow & red cards. The game is played in two 20 minute halves, the winning team from each game is whoever scores the most goals."

After reading that hopefully you have an idea of the game. In England, we have a governing body like The FA called The WFA, this organisation creates leagues & tournaments, helps develops clubs and much more. The WFA created the Premiership National League that me and my team compete in with 11 other teams. This season we've ben extremely successful in the national league - we won 20 games, drew 2 and lost 0.

This is a fantastic achievement! I'm so proud of myself and my team, we'd worked so hard throughout the season so this is an amazing reward.

WFA also run a FA Cup inspired trophy, so any club registered with the WFA can take part in this cup. The teams are drawn out of a hat then planned on a spread sheet for the rest of the competition. This year the final was held at St Georges Park (FA Training Headquarters). Of course Aspire were in the final against Northern Thunder PFC. At half time the score was 0-0. I was brought on and set up the winning goal!

So we are double champions this season! Next stop, Denmark!

My pet peeves as a photographer!

Hiya!

I was talking to my friend Sarah the other day about pet hates and cringey things like that and it got me thinking, what are my pet hates. As an individual I can't name any, however as a photographer I can name so many! So here are my pet hates... Photography related!

1.) Using #Photographer in an image caption on Instagram because you put a filter over it.

This genuinely boils my blood, not gonna lie. People take pictures of landscapes or pretty places or things and upload it onto Instagram with a filter which sometimes ruin the image, then posts the image using the hashtag "photographer". Seems pretty harmless, right? Calling yourself a photographer you'd know the technical meanings and settings on a camera for example Apperature, ISO, Shutter Spead etc, you'd also gone through some kind of training? I've been training for atleast 4 nearly 5 years now in photography and I've still got about 6 years till I'm 110% fully qualified. So just because you took a good picture doesn't mean you're instantly a fully qualified photographer. First rant over

2.) When clients ask you "Can you make me look pretty?".

Yes, I maybe the photographer but you are who you are and I can't change that. I can use a blemish tool on photoshop to blend in any blemishes on your body, I can make you look skinnier but I can't physically make you look a different person.

3.) The megapixel discussion!

I seriously am no camera technician, but all I know is when I'm asked this you don't care, but I care because I need to know if it takes pictures. We care a lot about pictures. Our pictures.

4.) When someone critiques your work who doesn't have any knowledge of photography.

Being a photographer you like to show off your work, either that being in an exhibition of gallery, social media or something else. You are the mother of your work, you created your work and gave birth to it. You're extremely proud of your work, then this nobody comes in and shoots you down with an airrifle of a gob- they haven't even looked at the name or caption of your piece, they haven't even looked at it for more than a second!  "I don't like it it's......". Criticism is valuable but when something about your work is blatantly obvious and is about that you have to understand and consider it before critiquing it.

Rants over.

Throwback Thursday!

Hiya!

Happy Thursday! Todays Throwback Thursday is inspired by my holiday to Sharm El Shiek in Egypt. Sharm is a beautiful holiday resort for families in Egypt, the workers are so proud of the place and love tourists. Its mainly European visitors (English, German, some even Russian!) with the odd person from somewhere else.

We stayed at Sea Club Aqua Park which is near Nabq Bay (near all the commercial restaurants and shops). Inside our hotel we had a spa, a sports bar, 3 restaurants and an Asda! We stayed over the Xmas period because we needed some Winter Sun (it got to as hot as 28 degree Celsius) and I can say it was one of the best Christmas's I've ever had! Enjoy the following images from my sunny Christmas in Egypt.

The Hotel grounds. You can see the waterpark slides which were a 5 minute walk from our room. Our room was so close to the pools - you can see the sun loungers and parasols.

The beach and the Red Sea. Very close to the local towns and sandy deserts. During the time I was there the UN was there trying to settle and disagreement with some "pirates" who docked their ship in an illegal part of the sea as it was a protected part due to wild life ... I think?!

Under da seaaaaaaaaaa! The Red Sea in fact! On Xmas Eve we went on a submarine ride. It was so hot, I remember on the bottom deck it was all glass and freezing cold which was nice as it was boiling hot!!!

In the Cockpit with my brother as our flight was delayed on the way home for about an hour. It was interesting to sit in the front and see all the important controls and buttons, it was very tempting to touch!!

That's all for today! Come back next Thursday to see more throwbacks of my life!

Love ya! Xxx

Where have I been?

Hiya!

I hope when you're reading this you're all well. Today I wanted to chat about the reason why by blog has been incredibly quiet! So as you know I am a level 3 photography student at Norwich city college. I'm currently over half way through my FMP (Final major project) this project decides by grade for the whole course. For me to obtain my grade I had to create a blog, so I had to make a new one so if you'd like to check that out the link is below! I basically post once a week about the development of my project and I'm hoping to keep that blog alive after the project so you can see more of my photography work.

3.) Smarties!

Ever since I was little I've loved Smarties, they're my childhood sweet. I would go to McDonalds and have a smarties McFlurry as they're the best things on earth. If not I'd have the £1 small smarties Easter egg... YUMMMMM!!!

Strike Force update number 2!!

Hiya!

Today I'd like to let you all know how I'm getting on with fundraising for my strike force. If you don't know already, I play powerchair football which is played in advanced powerchair with people with serve physical disabilities around the world. I'm currently fundraising for a new chair called the strike force which is the best chair in the sport.

I've been fundraising since the beginning of February with help along the way with companies like Big Daddy PR, The Green Dragon Pub, Tiles Away and chairites like The Rob George Foundation. I've also had many events that have raised a lot of money.

Friday 8th April, we had a Night Of Mediumship fundraiser for my powerchair, this raised over £1,600- thank you to everyone who came along! Also The Cliff Hotel have raised over £600 by doing collections at their tribute nights which me and my family are incredibly grateful of!

I'm pleased to announce that I now have enough money to purchase the strike force - Thank you ever so much to everyone who donated and attended events.

I would like to say a massive thank you to: Big Daddy PR, The Cliff Hotel, The Green Dragon Pub in Wymondham, The Rob George Foundation, Broadland Council, Tiles Away, City College Norwich and all the independent donators who have kept themselves anonymous.

I would also like to thank Lanchester Court for having their fun days in aid of my chair appeal, Tescos Sprowston for having a raffle in aid of my chair, Bronia West & Pete Harriman for voulenteering to do the mediumship night and anyone else I have forgotten.

And of course, all the people who donated £20's, £10's, £5's and so on as it all added up to over £2,000.

If I have forgotten anyone I'm really sorry but I do really appreciate it.

The chair has been ordered so now I play a waiting game and I can't wait!

Once again, THANK YOU so much!! I really couldn't of done this without you all!

Love ya! Xxx

My favourite places in the World!

Hiya!

Today I thought it would be fun to talk about my favourite places in the World I've travelled to. I love going on holiday and think it would be fun to reminisce about my fond memories!

1.) Coimbra, Portugal.

I visited Portugal for the first time in 2012, I went here for a skills camp in powerchair football. I love the visual beauty of Coimbra as it has its contrast of old and new. I visited in October/November time and it was a little chilly. I think if I was to go in the summer it would be lovely. I stayed at the Vila Gale Coimbra, this is a very updated hotel where I would think a lot of business people stay.

2.) Florence, Italy

This time last month I was in Italy, and I loved it! However, its not very wheelchair friendly. I stayed at Plus Florence which is a student hostel. We went to several places everyday however my favourite place was the Duomo which is the picture down below. It's a cathedral hand made from marble and other substances.

3.) Sharm El Sheik, Egypt.

Sharm is a very proud and cultured place. A lot of British, Russian and Germans go here for their winter holidays. I went here for Christmas in 2013 and have to say it was the best Christmas ever! The weather was about 20-30 degrees Celsius. It was always sunny, I cant remember it raining. We stayed at the Sea Club Aqua Park which is an all inclusive resort. I'd recommend getting taxi's from your resort and going to The Hard Rock Café as it was sooooo yummy!

4.) Limerick, Ireland.

I went to Ireland in 2014 with my Boyfriend for the powerchair football euro's. This was our first holiday together and loved Ireland. I loved Ireland because it was laid back, relaxed and surprisingly warm! We stayed at the Travelodge which was a mistake- it was like a green house! Next time I think I would spend the extra money and stayed at the hotel opposite the university.

That's just some of the places I've travelled to. These are by far my favourite! If you want to see more of this kind of thing then let me know.

How I made Mum's birthday cake!

Hiya!

On Saturday 26th march, it was my mothers birthday. My mum always makes fab birthday cakes for me and my family, therefore this year I wanted to have a go at creating a cake for my mother. I made a chocolate gravity defying cake. If you'd like to make this cake then keep on reading because I'm going to tell you how!

Gravity Defying Cake!

You will need:

1 x cake (Pssssh!!! You thought I was going to tell you my families secret chocolate cake recipe? Think again!)
1 x plastic stick- preferably about 40-50cm's tall.
150g of melted milk chocolate
1 x piping bag
3 x boxes of chocolate fingers
9-12 pieces of cotton wool (You're probably thinking WTF! But trust me on this one OK?)
2 x bags of your choice of chocolate or candy
20g white chocolate
250g of icing (I used chocolate but you can use whatever you like)
1 x cake board
150 cm of ribbon of your choice.
1 x pair of sharp scissors
1 x offset spatula

Steps:

1.) Using the icing cover your cake. Put the majority of the icing on top but spread around the sides so your chocolate fingers have something to stick to.

2.) Put the melted milk chocolate into the piping bag and cut the tip off the bag to create a small hole. Neatly cut the corner of the candy or chocolate bag and empty the content into a bowl. By squeezing the bag paint the stick in chocolate (only do one side of the stick at a time) and put the candy or chocolate one by one on the chocolate. Leave about 5-10 cm of space at the top of the stick.

3.) Open the empty chocolate or candy bag and stuff it with the cotton wool, this will give the appearance of a full bag. Place the uncovered end of the stick into the bag, the cotton wool will support the stick, however if you'd like to secure it more cover the top of the stick in melted chocolate.

4.) Put a little blob of melted chocolate on the middle of the cake board and transfer the cake onto the board. The melted chocolate will secure the cake.

5.) With force, push the stick about 10 cm into the centre of the cake.

6.) place the chocolate fingers upright around the sides of the cake. After that put your ribbon around the cake and tie a bow. Once you've tied a bow, cut the ends of the ribbon to a reasonable size to make it look tidy.

7.) open the other bag of treats and sprinkle onto on the cake, filling in any spaces.

8.) With the remainder of melted chocolate, spread it out on a piece of baking parchment. Place in the fridge till its set and manageable. Then break into a plack size and with a piping bag with a small tip write a message or a name or anything you like!

VOLIA!!!

There you have it! If you would like to make this cake then go ahead! Send me snapchats or tweets of your cake I'd love to see it!

Love Ya! Xxx

Planning an Exhibition!

Hiya!

So today I wanted to share this with you. I am a Level 3 Photography Student at City College Norwich. We're currently planning an Exhibition on our own (no help from staff etc,). I didn't realise how hard it was to plan and make an Exhibition until we started so, here's the things to consider when planning an Exhibition!

1.) Money

How are you going to get money? Are you going to charge people to enter? Are you going to charge Exhibitors? Can you apply for grants or loans? What we decided to do was, charge everyone who wanted to Exhibit a fee of £7 each, therefore we have a sturdy base of money. Our second way was fundraising. We're planning to do a bake sale, this could generate between £10-£30. We're also planning to do a 'Great Photography Bake Off', this is where people will bring in 1 bake from home and pay to try each bake and vote, we're very competitive so this will be fun... we hope!

2.) Venue

What venue? Is it wheelchair accessible? How much is a daily/weekly/hourly rate? Do they charge for electricity? What's the footfall like? These are the things you have to think about when choosing your venue. We've been struggling to find and agree on a suitable venue. So we're still looking for a venue but we have one in mind.

3.) Name and Date

What will you name it? When could it be? How long will it be? We can't agree on a name. We wanted it to be named something funny but not to do with photography. However we have a time frame in mind.

4.) Work to Exhibit?

Do you have enough people to Exhibit? What we thought is if people put at least 2 pieces in each we'll definitely have enough. We also decided not to take commission if peoples work sell as we felt people deserved to keep the money for their hardwork.

That's what we have thought of to be the biggest things to think of when planning an exhibition.

10 hours of driving?

Hiya!

Yesterday I travelled to Middlesbrough for the WFA Cup game quarter finals. So I wanted to tell you just a bit about my day and how we did.

I left home about 7 am. As soon as we hit the road I fell asleep as usual. I was asleep for abut 95% of the drive there because I was pretty tired. We then arrived at lunch and went to the 'Flaming Grill' which cooked amazing food! We ate yummy burgers and watched the Spurs V Gunners game. After the game we made our way to the venue. We then headed to the venue and speed tested our chairs ready for the game. I started in goal but then came out where we then won 8-0, I scored 4 goals- 3 strikes and 1 penalty. After the game we set off home and had a McFlurry and blueberry muffin. As soon as my head hit my pillow I was zonked!

So we're through to the Semi Finals! However, this weekend we are in Nottingham for Nationals so wish us luck by following @Aspire_PFC on Twitter!

The Best Mothers Day Gift's Guide!

Hiya!

Thursday morning I went shopping for my mum's Mothering Sunday present and struggled quite badly. The items especially for Mothers Day were pretty bog standard, and I felt my mum deserves more than a mug and stickers with Peppa Pig on! So if you really want to treat your mum this Mothering Sunday, take a look at this- Enjoy!

1.) Chocolate and Wine!

Every mum I knows loves chocolate and wine! Why not treat your mum to a box of Ferrero Rocher's (or a box of Thornton's if they have a nut intolerance or don't like them), a bottle of wine weather that be Red, White or Rose- she'll love it! If you're Mum doesn't like alcohol you could buy her a jar of coffee alternative, for example the Douwe Egbert's Smooth Caramel Flavoured Instant Coffee. It comes in a little glass jar and costs roughly £2-£3.

Coffee: http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=275235399

2.) Pamper Voucher

Our mums work so hard! Why not let her relax and recharge with a little bit of pampering? Many beauty salons (nail salons etc,) have a voucher or pamper scheme for presents. Last year my dad brought my mum one for a massage. And if you play your cards right you can sometimes get deals too!

3.) Afternoon Tea
CAAAAAAKE! Everyone loves cake and a cuppa'! At local hotels they sometime do afternoon tea. You could create your mum a special voucher which you can wrap up or put in an envelope so she'll still have something to open on Mothers Day.

Aftenoon Tea UK: http://www.afternoontea.co.uk/

4.) Home Cooking

My mum cooks my dinner every night (well most nights) so why not let her have a day off and take control in the kitchen? You could cook your mum's favourite meal, your treat her to a home cooked 3 course meal- courtesy of you?!

5.) Hampers!

If you want to buy multiple small gifts then why not create a hamper? You can make hampers very easily! All you need is a basket or metal bucket (for presentation), some tissue paper or shredded paper and most importantly presents. I would do a candle one for my mum as she loves candles. I would put in Tealights, a jar candle, candle holders and other candle accessories.

There you have it! These are my top 5 choices of mothers day gifts! If you're stuck and this helped let me know by tweeting me or snapchatting me.

6 Of My Favourite TV Shows!

Hiya!

So today, I want to talk about my favourite TV shows. When I have the time, I can be a real TV addict, it can be classy TV or complete trash! So here it is, my favourite TV shows!

1.) EastEnders

Set in the east end of London (E20 to be exact), EastEnders is a soap opera show, televised week days apart from Wednesdays. The show was first aired on 19th February 1985 and last year celebrated its 30th Birthday. The show features a lot of common day problems, for example Cystic Fibrosis, Post Partum Psychosis and Alcoholism. EastEnders is very addictive, that's why its my number 1!

2.) Holby City

Holby City is another soap opera that is televised on BBC 1 every Tuesday evening. It showcases what an everyday hospital is like, from difficult patients to a doctor and nurse getting it on. The show also features awareness of Cancer's and other illnesses.

(1985-02-19)
3.) Keeping Up With The Kardashians

They're the most famous people in the world! The Kardashians have their own show on E! produced by the family and Ryan Seacrest. The show has had many spin offs like Khloe & Kourtney Take Miami. I love this show, its so trashy that it makes me feel better about myself. I feel nosey as well when watching as I feel like I'm seeing to much into their personal lives, however its very entertaining.

4.) Cake Boss

Cake Boss is the most mouth watering show in the world of food programmes. I love cake. I love eating cake, making cake, thinking of cake... CAAAAAKE! The show features a normal week in the family run bakery, the magnificent cakes and the family goss. You should watch this show if you want to be educated on cake making or if you just love cake.

5.) Celebrity Juice

Keith Lemon hosts this celebrity panel game show with team captains Fearne Cotton, Holly Willoughby or Gino D'Acampo. The celebs notoriously have drinks hidden under the table, its believed they have a drink so the show is funny. The show is shown on ITV2 at 10pm.

6.) Geordie Shore

So Geordie Shore is reality show where 8 or sometimes more Geordies live in a house for 6 weeks, living the party lifestyle. The show features the life of the Geordies, their arguments and love stories while in the house. There is always an explosive argument because they've had too much to drink, however its very entertaining!

There you have it! Six of my favourite TV shows. Let me know if you liked this sort of thing and I may do this again.

What if you won the lottery?

Hiya!

How are you all today? I was thinking the other day, what if I won over £1 million. I know exactly what I would spend this on and I'm going to tell you. So sit back, relax and drink a cuppa'.

1.) A spacious bungalow.

Being a wheelchair user, I always spot faults anywhere I go. One of the hardest things living with a disability is having an accessible home. I would buy large bungalow fully adapted for me so I could live comfortably.

2.) Go on holiday

I love going away on holiday. One of my favourite places to go to is America. I think I would book to go to America for a month and chill. I love to shop at the designer outlets, go to universal studios and all the restaurants (especially the Hard Rock Café and Planet Hollywood).

3.) Donate money to my football club

As some of you know, I play powerchair football for Aspire PFC. To run a club it costs at least £10,000. Therefore because I want my sport to survive I would donate some money to my powerchair football club or the league.

4.) Shopping spree!

AAAAND I'm a shopping addict and love clothes so obviously I'd go on a massive shopping spree and buy myself a whole new wardrobe.

That's what I would spend 1 million pounds on. What would you spend that amount of money on? Let me know!

Strike Force Fundraising Update! Number 1!

Hiya!

Today I would like to take a moment to appreciate the people who have helped fundraise/donate to the fund. If you don't know already, I play powerchair football for Aspire PFC. I play Regional, National and soon European football for Aspire. In October I will be playing in the Champions League in Denmark which is an incredible honour, however I need a new powerchair called the Strike Force so I can take part on a level playing field. I love powerchair football, its my life, so this chair is desperately needed not just for Europe but also for the upcoming season.

The chair costs a whopping £6,500, however with UK referendum on Europe, the pound to the dollar has dropped from £1 - $1.50  to £1 - $1.36 (this means the pound is becoming weaker) which changes the price to about £7,200. This means more fundraising will have to be done.

The Strike Force Power Soccer Wheelchair.

Over the past month, many fundraising activities have been planned and completed. I made a GoFundMe page which has generated £2,125- donations from complete strangers, which is amazing! My Grandmother lives on an OAP court and she decided to have many fundraising activities such as sports day, raffles and bingo. This raised a total of £1241.50! Therefore I have £3366.50. We currently have a money collection point at The Green Dragon Pub in Wymondham and are waiting to hear how much they have raised.

We have planned a night of mediumship, which is where you'll receive messages from the dead. On Friday 8th April, 7-11PM at Spixworth Village Hall. Tickets are £10 per person. If you'd like to buy a ticket please message me on Twitter, Facebook or Snapchat.

If anyone could help I would be most grateful! To pull on an England shirt with the 3 lions on my chest is my dream! Thank you to everyone who has donated/fundraised already I'm extremely grateful!

How do I stay positive?

Hiya!

How are you all today? I thought that I would like to share how I keep a positive mind. I live with a life limiting illness called Primary Lymphodema, Brittle Bones Disease and much more which causes me excruciating pain. I try to keep positive as much as possible because I don't want to waste time worrying about small silly things or being down. Everyone does have their down day, even I do! But, when people meet me, they comment about my positivity and ask me 'how do you keep so positive', so here are my tips to keeping positive!

1.) Friends

Friends are such a good support system, they listen and try to help you. I find, surrounding myself with positive people who I like, distracts me from my condition. If you surround yourself with negative people, you'll find that you have a lot of negative thoughts or are very unhappy. So, happy people = happy YOU!

2.) Laugh and smile!

I try to smile everyday! Smiling automatically shows a happy personality. Even if you're feeling down, smiling can help you feel better. I watch comedy movies, documentaries and programs to help be happy. Laughing brings joy to the soul.

3.) Music

Music brings people together and takes people on a roller-coaster of emotions. I listen every morning to a playlist of feel good songs, this sets my mood for the rest of the day. I listen to these songs while doing my hair, make-up, getting dressed etc.

4.) CHOCOLATE!

Chocolate of course! Chocolate makes me feel happy because I love chocolate and chocolate loves me! Heheheheh!!

I hope this helps you all, wanting to become a happier person.

Making My TV Debut!

Hiya!

Today I want to talk about my TV debut last Monday. So on Monday 15th February 2016, I was a panellist on the Victoria Derbyshire Show LIVE with Chairman of the FA Greg Dyke, BBC Sport correspondent Richard Conway (@Richard_conway), Damian Collins who is an MP (@damiancollins), Chief writer and editor of the sports Telegraph (@_paulhayward) and the legend David Ginola (@teamginola). I was representing powerchair football in the FIFA corruption debate, however I didn't get to talk about powerchair football due to limited time. We basically spoke about how we think FIFA could reallocate their funding and who could be next as president. As we all know I would be an amazing president for FIFA however, I decided not to run for presidency. Here's how my day went.

7:30 AM -

I left the hotel in Hackney with a belly full of Bourbon Biscuits. My dad drove me to the BBC studios which is very near to Oxford Street. It was surprisingly calm in London centre which was insane! I'd never seen it so clear in my life.

8:10 AM -

Arrived at the BBC studios and waited for my bodyguard to take me to the green room. He wasn't as attractive as I thought bodyguards would looks.

8:30 AM-

The 'bodyguard' turned up and took me to hair and make-up where I was tangoed. I was tangoed because the studio lights are so strong that if I wasn't I would've looked like Casper The Ghost.

8:45 AM-

I met Victoria and the other panellists... and then David Ginola walked in. He's the nicest man on earth!

8:50 AM-

We were briefed (basically told not to swear and smile) and rushed onto set with microphones placed and drinking water out of mugs. Well classy!

9:00 AM-

The show went live!

10:30 AM-

Show ended, I went shopping on Oxford Street and met up with my mate Charlie.

If you would like to watch the show here's the link!

I have kept in contact with Mr Ginola, in fact he really supports grassroots football, from disability to U19's up the park. Here's a picture of me and David to leave you on.
