How do I stay positive?

Hiya!

How are you all today? I thought that I would like to share how I keep a positive mind. I live with a life limiting illness called Primary Lymphodema, Brittle Bones Disease and much more which causes me excruciating pain. I try to keep positive as much as possible because I don't want to waste time worrying about small silly things or being down. Everyone does have their down day, even I do! But, when people meet me, they comment about my positivity and ask me 'how do you keep so positive', so here are my tips to keeping positive!


1.) Friends

Friends are such a good support system, they listen and try to help you. I find, surrounding myself with positive people who I like, distracts me from my condition. If you surround yourself with negative people, you'll find that you have a lot of negative thoughts or are very unhappy. So, happy people = happy YOU!


2.) Laugh and smile!

I try to smile everyday! Smiling automatically shows a happy personality. Even if you're feeling down, smiling can help you feel better. I watch comedy movies, documentaries and programs to help be happy. Laughing brings joy to the soul.


3.) Music

Music brings people together and takes people on a roller-coaster of emotions. I listen every morning to a playlist of feel good songs, this sets my mood for the rest of the day. I listen to these songs while doing my hair, make-up, getting dressed etc.


4.) CHOCOLATE!

Chocolate of course! Chocolate makes me feel happy because I love chocolate and chocolate loves me! Heheheheh!!
